Headline Poem 4/20/14 -- wildflowers

Today's poem is based on a picture I saw here in this photo of the day headline of wildflowers. I also spent the day today with my family in Joshua Tree, which had many beautiful wildflowers.

wildflowers

wildflowers bloom

in phases. they can't all go

at once. they wait, patiently. 

for their turn. for if they all bloomed at once, 

the world wouldn't know what to do.
