Headline Poem 10/14/14 -- DEFEAT

DEFEAT

I turn spastically from the

left-hand turn lane 

  to  avoid entering 

      the on ramp 

of uncertainty 

for. the    third     time    this     week

in an attempt to 

face the. speed 

       

      and not evade 

the     suffocating lanes 

  that I once   called 

FREEDOM.
